ENG SARA QO'SHIQLAR is a musical drama created by the People's Artist Foundation and the National Public Theater of Uzbekistan. The play is based on a novel by the same name and tells a story of young Olimpa, who dreams of becoming a famous singer. Olimpa and his friend, Toto, write a song together and set out to perform it in front of a live audience. They are joined on their journey by other friends, and eventually Olimpa's girlfriend, Sara, leaves with him to pursue her dreams of becoming a musician. The play has a very positive message, and is intended to promote unity, peace, love, and respect.
The show is a great way to learn Uzbek and gain an understanding of the country's history and culture. The actors are all from Uzbekistan, and the show was filmed in the capital city of Tashkent.
